Professor Ryszard Bartkowiak – habilitated doctor of economic sciences, Professor of economics at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics (SG). 2007-2012 Deputy Dean and 2012-2020 Dean of the Collegium of Management and Finance. SGH Senate’s member since 2012. Head of the Chair of Political Economy and History of Economic Thought since 2013, and head of the Institute of Political Economy, Law, and Economic Policy since 2020. Author and co-author of works on history of economic thought (e.g., the university textbook ‘History of economic thought’ [in Polish] of 2003, second edition 2008 and third edition 2019, and the monograph ‘Contribution of the Warsaw School of Economics to the development of economic sciences’ [in Polish] of 2015), development economics (e.g., the university textbook ‘Development economics’ [in Polish] of 2013, and monographs ‘Nature, human population and output produced. A population-geographic approach to economic issues’ [in English] of 2003 and ‘Limits to economic growth. Selected issues of neoclassical economics and development economics’ [in Polish] of 2005), contemporary streams in economics (e.g., ‘Condition of the world economy and changes in economic theory’ [in Polish] of 2011, co-authored with Zbigniew Staniek), and financial sciences (banking industry).
Dr. Małgorzata Korczyk– assistant professor at the Department of Economic Policy and Monetary Theory at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics; as a historian of economic thought, she is interested in the evolution of economic theory. Professor Zbigniew Polański – has been working at the Warsaw School of Economics since 1982, in 1998 – appointed head of the Department of Monetary Policy, the head of the Department of Money Theory and Economic Policy since mid-2020, in 2000 – awarded the title of Professor of Economics, his main research interests focus on the theory of money and monetary policy, central banking and financial systems, since 1987 – employed at the NBP, working in its analytical and research departments, from 1990 to 1991 – on a Fulbright scholarship (University of Maryland), and in the years 1992–1993 – a scholarship holder of the Government of Canada (Carleton University), in 2006 – participated in the IMF mission in Ukraine, and in 2007 – worked for the ECB on Russian economy issues.
